A theme for the exterior aesthetics

So, the car is really rust free, with only slight surface rust here and there.  I decide that i want the car to be a serious Pro Touring / Track Day car.  This means light weight, no creature comforts, and no features that don't enhance performance.
The car came with tons of factory chrome trim.  Some is fastened with clips to studs that were welded to the body, and some with screws.  This meant that there were lots of "opportunities" to smooth these out with a grinder and mig welder.  I counted over 100 of these.
